I'm a tiny woman that's set out on many different passionate endeavors over the years.

I founded the music company Everything Independent the first anti-percentage-based label in the US advocating for artists' rights which I ran for a decade. Having the privilage of being a celebrated speaker at events such as SXSW, NXNE, and CMJ I traveled the world hoping to make some positive change in a difficult industry. For 8 years of this adventure I also managed band Gangstagrass and wrote my tumblr front page featured Mommy blog, Little Amour during the peak of mummy blog madness.

Being a natural activist I founded the movement-changing group Parents for Occupy Wall Street in NYC, during the Occopy movement and was the lead subject in Dana Glazer's documentary Parents of the Revolution, which documented the eventual and successful crisis relief project I led when hurricane Sandy destroyed my Brooklyn neighborhood.

Making a natural transition out of the music industry and into storytelling I held various positions in advertising and marketing in the United Kingdom before settling into Portugal in 2018.

My love for content creation led to me to co-found the digital marketing agency Blog Authentic alongside the creation of my YouTube Series Sailing Soon.

Through the years I battled with a mystery illness which I wrote about on my blogs discovering in 2017 I had been born with Copper Toxicity. After living 32 years suffering from a copper imbalance I set out on a healing journey that led me to reconnect with my families’ lost Native American heritage (descendant of the Eastern Band of Cherokee) and become a Certified Soul Coach Practitioner with a goal to help others facing the same challenges physically, emotionally and spiritually.

NOW THAT'S ALL OUT OF THE WAY, WHO IS KIRBY REALLY THOUGH?

Surviving the music industry, a revolution, a natural disaster, and life-changing illness has taught me one thing:

WITHOUT EACH OTHER WE ARE NOTHING.

In short though, I'm a survivor who's always looking for ways to heal and help others heal along the way so I founded Amour Soul Space in Portugal to host my healing work and have a sacred space to gather. The rest is history.
