The Amour brand was founded in 2018 by Kirby Amour originally as a venue offering an alternative to the party bars in Ericeira, Portugal. The cafe became known for it’s rainbow NYC-style breakfast sandwiches alongside great coffee and local beers. It features a specialty spiritual shop and has grow into much more since it’s start.

2023 was a year of change forAMOUR as we moved our entire entity to Lisbon onto the river in a new floating community.

The brand now hosts the original cafe, a happening nightlife community at a full-service bar featuring locally crafted beers, full Asian-influenced food menu, and the best bar staff in town. Online you’ll find a mystic shop and wholesale Native American-centered catalog. After large demand, we started selling our Amour House Coffee Beans for take-home use and act as the home base for Naked Sisters Cold Brew Coffee (produced with our bean!).

The concept behind Amour is to create a community of like-minded individuals, offer a safe space for womxn and a hub for the local LGBTQ community. With time it’s grown into so much more with our locals becoming family and lifetime friendships growing from the space. We never know what the next day will bring us with this passionate and colorful community that’s formed from our cozy cafe.

We believe in accountability, honesty, building true community through social responsibility…and not taking ourselves too seriously! We live by our house values proudly and hope to make the world a better place with our work.
