Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

A hair minerals analysis test provides information about the levels of minerals and trace elements in the body over a period of time, typically several months. Hair testing is therefore different from a blood test which provides information about the levels of these elements in the body at the time the blood is drawn. Because of this, hair mineral analysis testing can be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatments aimed at correcting nutrient deficiencies or reducing heavy metal toxicity over time and give us a screen shot of what’s happening in the physical body alongside other therapies.
